On the bars and clubs side, Mint Group want to acquire new businesses in busy town centres in the south of England. A minimum of 2,500 sq ft at ground floor is required and the company will look at properties offering a total of over 25,000 sq ft.

Prominent frontage is generally important, and access to outside areas preferred.

Properties or sites should have Class A3, A4 or D2 planning consent and the Mint Group’s ideal bar or club property would be one that is already licensed and at least partly fitted out.

Freehold or leasehold opportunities can be considered, but businesses must be free of tie.

For the TMG businesses, the company is looking for sites for all forms of leisure development. Brownfield sites which could be available for a log cabin scheme are of particular interest. For these, a minimum of 25 acres is required in areas popular with tourists.

However, any opportunity for leisure development will be considered.
